About Me

Hello, my name is Lynette Blackwell and I am very pleased to meet you.

I first became hooked on horses when I was a young teenager. My first ride on a horse (if you can call flapping my legs with no co-ordination with my hands riding!) was on a very old, very cantakorous New Forest pony named Rocky.

When Rocky found himself sold to a riding school I followed. I was lucky enough to be taken on as a weekend helper where I learnt to ride in exchange for my services of all the lovely jobs that needed to be done. I literally spent all my free time with horses immersing myself and learning everything I could.

At 16 I was forced to leave my beloved horses and go to work. I could afford riding lessons but it wasnt the same, I loved being with horses and looking after them was part of my joy. I vowed that when I could afford to have my own I would. So I left with a heavy heart.

Over the past 7 years I have suffered with a chronic pain condition. I tried everything operations, medication, interventions which had no effect. Desperate to find an answer I stumbled upon healing. Healing has changed my life by healing my emotional wounds.

My first thought was if healing can work for people why not animals? Today I am healing others and their animals. It warms my soul to heal especially horses and I am grateful for the opportunity to pay back what horses have given me xx
